Aviv Tasa, Esq. is the founding partner at the Aviv Tasa law firm. Aviv specialises in in real estate and planning & construction transactions, and is a pioneer in the urban renewal practice area.
Over the years, Aviv has led real estate investment companies, contractors, public bodies, purchasing groups and private investors through various complex real estate transactions and large-scale residential projects.
Aviv has garnered extensive experience and substantial professional knowledge in the management of a wide range of real estate transactions, including real estate entrepreneurship, urban renewal purchase transactions, yielding real estate, purchasing groups and real estate finance. Moreover, Aviv has appeared before all court instances, including the various committees in the relevant authorities.
Aviv provides ongoing legal advice to his clients from the preliminary stages of the transaction, including changes of designation proceedings, urban building schemes, negotiations concerning various types of purchase contracts, and finally drafting the agreement and reporting the transaction to the tax authorities.
Aviv served as the vice-chairman of the Israeli Bar Association’s real estate forum, as well as the chairman of the association’s urban renewal forum. In this role, Aviv participated in numerous Knesset (parliamentary) committees aimed at progressing the urban renewal practice in Israel. In addition, Aviv was involved in several legislative and regulatory acts in the field.
Furthermore, Aviv provided legal representation to the Israeli National Apartment Association in 12 different cities, among which Tel Aviv, and is one of the founders of the Association of National Outline Plan 38 Companies in the Israeli Chamber of Commerce, where he also served as a legal advisor.
The significant reputation Aviv has garnered among colleagues and clients in this practice area, combined with his considerable experience and professional proficiency, have made Aviv a much sought-after lecturer in various types of academic institutions, including the Israeli Bar Association, as well as in a wide range of television and radio programs. Furthermore, Aviv is one of the founders of the N.O.P. 38 course at the Fishman Real Estate Centre, where he also lectures regularly.
